Private Events

Curling is a perfect activity for a birthday party, get-together, team building, or corporate event.

We have a variety of options available that can accommodate groups ranging from 8 - 40+ in size.

All private events include the same three part program as our Learn2Curls:

  • Part 1 - Classroom Session - appx 45 min

    • Brief History of Curling

    • Safety

    • Terminology

    • Rules

    • Game Play

  • Part 2 - On Ice Instruction - appx 30 min

    • Delivering the Stone

    • Sweeping

  • Part 3 - Beginner’s Game- appx 60 min

    • Play a few ends with other beginners and/or jump into a pick-up game with some other members to try out your new curling skills

All events take place at the Ice Factory of Central Florida in Kissimmee and include Ice Rental and Classroom Fees for the Ice Factory, Orlando Curling Club members for instruction, and all needed equipment (brooms, grippers, sliders, delivery sticks, stabilizers, and stones.

Food and Drink options can be arranged with the Ice Factory team.

Studio Rink Event

Additional Flexibility in Scheduling

The Studio Rink at the Ice Factory has space for 2, half-sized curling sheets.

It’s great for events with younger participants as the throwing distance is a little less than half of the full sized sheet. Although the distance throwing the stone is shorter, participants still get the full experience of sliding, throwing the stone, sweeping, and scoring in the house.

The Full NHL Rink at the Ice Factory has space for 5 full regulation curling sheets.
